So my awesome friends Lakin And DeNae want me to start to blog... Here I am! I made this account 3 years ago, but never did anything in it. I am not very good at writing, but I think this will help! What I want this blog to be isn't a place where I can rant and complain about my life, but a place where I can share my days with the ones that I love. This is an exciting time in my life and I want to share it with all of you!
Right now, there is a lot going on! Me and my long-term boyfriend, Brian Murphy, have recently become engaged on Christmas Eve. We are beyond excited that this time has come for us! A few weekends ago, we drove up to Young Harris, GA with our moms and looked at a beautiful venue. It is outside, right next to a river, with log cabins and fire pits. It is about 10 minutes away from the mountain house my parents own, and it is absolutely perfect. We all loved it so much, and we have chosen to be married there! May 17, 2014 is our date, and we couldn't be more ecstatic. The Lord has truly blessed us and our relationship up until this point, and we cannot wait to see where He takes us next! Because it is more than a year away, I haven't planned a whole lot yet, but we will be taking engagement pictures soon. I am SO excited for that :)
Also, I am soon graduating from my home at Georgia Southern University, and am forced to go out into the real world. I don't know exactly how I am feeling about this. I am excited to be done with school for now, but am sad to leave my home in Statesboro. Yes, Statesboro is very lackluster and boring, but it has become my home and has such a special place in my heart. But that's mushy enough for now, I still have a few months!
